Orbit Lock ("the app", "the game") is developed and published by Kings Code B.V., Clarissenstraat 22, 5281 AZ Boxtel, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce 55874134). Kings Code is the controller for the processing described in this policy. This policy explains what information is processed when you play Orbit Lock, why, and what your rights are. Questions? Contact us at contact@bumblebolt.nl.
Orbit Lock shows ads through Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC). To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the AdMob software in the app collects the following data and shares it with Google:
On iOS the Advertising ID (IDFA) is only used if you allow tracking in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
Legal basis: your consent for personalized ads (via the consent dialog), or our legitimate interest in showing non-personalized ads where permitted. Kings Code itself never sees, stores or sells this data. How Google uses it is described in Google's partner policy and Google's privacy policy.
We use GameAnalytics (GameAnalytics Limited, London, United Kingdom) to understand how the game is played: which levels are too hard, where players stop and whether rewards and offers work. GameAnalytics processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. The app sends:
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the game and fixing problems (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We only look at these statistics in aggregated form, we do not use them for advertising and we do not combine them with advertising data. GameAnalytics keeps raw event data only for a limited period (up to 12 months) and may use aggregated, de-identified data to improve its own service. See the GameAnalytics privacy notice.
Purchases such as Remove Ads, the Starter Pack and coin packs are processed by Google Play or Apple's App Store under their own terms and privacy policies. Kings Code never receives your name, e-mail address or payment details. The app only receives confirmation of which product you bought so it can unlock it on your device, and records the product, price and currency in GameAnalytics as described above.
The following stays on your device and is never sent to us: your save data (level progress, stars, high scores, coins, unlocked skins and backgrounds, missions) and your settings (sound, vibration, language and reminders). Reminders are scheduled locally on your device; the app does not use a push notification server. Deleting the app deletes this data.
If you tap Feedback, your own e-mail app opens with a message to us that already contains the app version, the platform and a technical device description. Nothing is sent unless you send that e-mail yourself. We only use what you send to reply to you and to improve the game, and we delete it when it is no longer needed.
Orbit Lock is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly process children's data. If you believe a child has used the app and you have concerns, contact us.
All communication between the app and Google and GameAnalytics is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Google may process advertising data outside the EEA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. GameAnalytics is based in the United Kingdom, which the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of data protection, and relies on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses for any further transfers.
If the app starts processing different data, we update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect. This version adds gameplay statistics through GameAnalytics, which start with Orbit Lock 1.7.1.
